In a rematch with Leon Edwards, Kamaru Usman was unable to successfully defend his welterweight belt. At UFC 278 versus Kamaru Usman, the frantic Edwards executed a spectacular last-second head kick KO to capture the welterweight championship.

Seven years had passed since their first encounter, and Usman wasted no time in putting Edwards down as soon as the fight started.
